STORYLINE
|
Ben is trapped in his own life. A wasted opportunity has landed him taking the same commute to the same unfulfilled job for the past 3 years. Attempting to revive his former lifestyle has proved to be just as unsatisfying. But when Ben's weekend plans get ruined, a mysterious being interrupts his night in what could be a chain breaking experience. For the both of them.

A MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR
"Levon", a personal story with a dash of sci-fi, was a welcomed challenge from the beginning. As an unproven filmmaker I managed to get a group of the most hard working, talented, professional attitude, and trusting people to become apart of this project. For 8 months we put together a piece of art that was not only entertaining, but relatable too. While successfully completing "Levon" is in and of itself a great thing, the greatest achievement of this production is getting to showcase the terrific talent of the cast and crew. From the lead to the stand-in to the musical composer everybody shines. I literally can go on and on all day and brag about the people in this production. I hope you enjoy it as much as everyone had working on it!
Thanks,
Joey Martin

MUSIC
The music of Levon is based on my love for indie music. I was extremely happy to get Kenny Shore (www.KennyShore.com) to contribute a handful of his songs, plus, compose some original material. He managed to create the music I was looking for to build the world of Levon all while adding his unique Americana twist to it. We recorded the music at Duck Kee Studios No. 8 in Mebane, NC. Music Engineer Genius Jerry Kee helped record and edit the tracks perfectly, while adding his flair as a recordist and a drummer. Actress Stephanie Nusbaum "Jules" also contributed her vocal talents to the original Levon track, "Run Like The Water". Local musicians David M Lane contributed the much exciting version Saint-Saens Aquarium. Another local band The Twang Doctors (with Kenny Shore as a member) also contributed to the music of Levon, especially the beautiful song "Midnight Prayer". which puts the icing on my favorite scene of the movie. Lastly, a few tracks by Moby are played throughout Levon thanks to Mobygratis.com.
